The primary mission of Paws with Claws Rescue is to trap, neuter, and release feral cats to established colonies where they will be safely and compassionately maintained for the remainder of their lives.

To this end, we provide free trapping, access to low cost spay/neuter and vaccination services, and shelters, food, and medical care for ill/injured animals in established colonies. These efforts are targeted to economically depressed areas with a high proportion of elderly and low income residents, and very few animal resources. We also sponsor low cost spay/neuter mobile clinics, provide emergency care for injured domestic and community cats, foster homeless adult cats and kittens, rehome feral cats as needed, assist with transportation of animals for feeders/owners who are elderly or disabled, and provide ongoing education on the need for control of animal reproduction and the means by which this can be achieved.

The volunteers of Paws with Claws Rescue are committed to coordinating our efforts with other animal rescue groups across several counties, to foster supportive relationships with the members of these groups, and to treat other rescuers and people we serve with courtesy, compassion and respect.

All those who work with with Paws with Claws are volunteers. None receive compensation of any kind. Our work is funded primarily by tax exempt donations from generous private supporters. Donations are not accepted from entities which market feline-related products and, therefore, we have no promotional relationships.
